These brush pens are AMAZING. I use them for lettering and I prefer .

These brush pens are AMAZING. I use them for writing and prefer them to the Tombow Dual Brushes and the ecoline Brush Pens. I really love colors. The tips are good and don't wear out that quickly. The only downside is that the colors don't always match their names. Coral is more like peach, salmon is almost red, pale orange is more like light pink. Otherwise they are great.

Expensive but good quality

I buy a lot of arts and craft supplies after watching professional artists use them and/or recommending them in their tutorials. I believe if they use this it must be of good quality. I bought these after seeing Lisa Congdon use them in an art magazine tutorial on CreativeBug.com. And although this big pack is expensive I think they are good quality and totally worth it. Plus, you can use them for both coloring and writing with the brush tips.

Amazing brush writing and blending pens!

I've been writing with brushes for over a year now and just unexpectedly received these pens as an anniversary gift from my husband after briefly mentioning them and I love them! However, I would say that you have to check your brush pens a little before you buy them. As an absolute beginner, I wouldn't buy these because the tips get very soft and, as I said, you need good control first. But they are amazing! I really love them because they write with a brush and make some strokes. The color…

Great marker brushes.

Bought for experiments. I love Tombow markers and like to mix alcohol markers like Copic. But I also hate spending $7 on a marker. They are unbeatable for the price and versatile. They blend well on their own, or you can use water for a watercolor effect. The colors are pleasant, the addition of water does not wash them out, the colors remain bright and beautiful. The brush tips seem quite springy; Also, my pet gets annoyed when I have a good brush tip that becomes frizzy and doesn't hold its…

Nothing beats or compares to this set

I am taking an online course to learn how to do freehand and brush lettering and these pens were recommended to me. I tried to save money by ordering a different set and brand which gave you more flowers/pens for your money. Big mistake. First, not all brush pens are created equal. Koi pens have a flexible marker tip, while some others (including another brand I bought) have real pen brushes like a brush. The other set also had less vibrant colors and while they offered more pencils/colors…

LOVE LOVE LOVE these markers!

What can I say other than I LOVE her?! I can even use them for heavy adult coloring books, so win win! They are similar to my Tombow markers in that they don't have an actual brush tip, but the ink applies smoothly and easily - very good markers! The 48 color set has a wide variety of colors including my favorite teals! I tested them on a Peter Pauper Press coloring book and the paper on them is fantastic for these markers. They don't bleed and only seem to warp the paper if you use real water…

Be an artist, not a colorist!

My wife bought coloring books for adults. What a strange thing, I thought; An adult performs the actions of a child. I teased her, but when her books arrived I watched her get lost for about an hour and was mesmerized. So I grabbed the book and quickly found that it was quite relaxing and meditative. She first bought Crayon colored pencils, but the color was matte and muted. They weren't that bright, vibrant color. We found these Sakura Koi watercolor pencils and watched a video of the artist…
