Fits Thule Luggage Rack

This product solved my problem exactly. I have a hatchback and the top edge of the door is plastic, not metal. So the placement of the top hook on that top edge was very unstable and not strong enough. With this article, the bike rack can be used in my car again. I have a Thule Passage bike rack with a rack mount. no sari. The strap width is the same, so it fits directly.

Pros
  • Creates a custom fit for special needs cars
Cons
  • Volume

Exactly what I needed

I have a 2013 Challenger and was having trouble finding the right bike rack. Eventually I found a Saris brand suitcase but due to the shape of the suitcase there was no way to attach the bottom straps. These straps completely solved the problem. I've run them through my trunk and they're as safe as can be. I'm seriously considering replacing the top and side straps with these so I don't have to worry about them scratching or damaging the trunk.

Pros
  • Designed for cars with glass edges and narrow boot openings
Cons
  • Frequency

Geat solution to securely mount your bike on the My Saris Bike Rack

I put 2 bikes on my Saris rack when I mount it on my cars. Toyota, Chrysler. The original sari's iron hooks don't fit well and too tightly on my Chrysler's uncomfortably sloping tailgate. Huggers ensure a straight, safe and soft landing that latches under the Chrysler tailgate when closed. And it's an easier way to manage the secure bike rack when I put my 2 bikes on the Saris Trunk Rack. This is my second sentence. I bought it a few years ago, have been using it with pleasure for many years…

Pros
  • DESIGN: Designed for vehicles that require a custom fit, including vehicles with glass hinges or surfaces that are difficult to attach with traditional rack hooks such as plastic or with smooth edges
Cons
  • I Keep Calm

Have your Saris bike rack fitted to your Prius sunroof

My Saris bike rack bought for a Toyota Matrix didn't work with my new Prius. The metal clips did not fit in the gap in the tailgate. Switching the seat belts to sunroof latches solved that problem. Rubberized anchors are inserted into the hatch, after which the Saris unit can be securely attached to the Prius configuration. This takes a bit more work as I don't like leaving the carrier in the car when not in use so every time I drive I have to unbuckle the straps so I can stow the main unit…

Pros
  • EASY INSTALLATION: Quick and easy to install and attach to your Saris bike rack
Cons
  • boring packaging

Works great for me.

I'm not struggling with the tailgate, I'm struggling with the trunk seam gap. I tried 3 bike bones a few years ago but couldn't get the center/side mounts to work in the trunk seams without buckling or buckling the decklid wherever they were. The top and bottom anchors were fine, but the side anchors would not move without power/damage. Not sure if they had them back then but wow they definitely work for me on two bike bones now. With the trunk slightly open, I install the top anchors on the…

Pros
  • A pair of Saris bike carrier straps
Cons
  • No automatic

If Saris says you should use them on your car, take them. I figured I could get away without using them with my Bones 2 saris. I probably COULD, but I risked the normal hooks coming off if I suddenly stopped and shifted the weight forward. through the sheet metal of your car. (And they're big and soft, so that won't happen) They're easy to dress up with Bones straps. Simply remove the original hook straps and replace them with these. Takes 2 seconds to swap them out. Once installed on the car…
