Bought this (little used and a great price) to scan some of my books for vacation. In terms of scanning, this scanner does not disappoint. I get very clear scans every time. So far no maintenance issues with it, although 10 out of 1000 sheets are going through. My complaints are minor and few: * Sheets sometimes get stuck when going through a large stack of sheets.
