Fits in both of my 5 gallon cans.

Works as advertised. I don't know why others have such high expectations. Advertised as a lift pump, not a pressure pump. It fits my 5 gallon gas and diesel cans perfectly and is much easier to use than a standard siphon hose as you don't inhale any fumes or fuel. The cut-off is very convenient to use and allows perfect control of fuel consumption. I have a Kubota tractor that is difficult to fill with a 5 gallon jerry can, but this article makes it so much easier that I can filter the fuel at…

Flo N Go 08338 MaxFlo Pump

I used this siphon pump on one of my old 5 gallon jerry cans. This gas bottle has an air vent that helps the flow a lot. I used my own gas bottle cap as the caps supplied did not fit. The gas flowed normally without using the air vent, but seemed to slow down until I unscrewed the air vent, and then it flowed like I'd knocked over a can. This works great if you have an old gas cartridge/jar as the flow is affected by its own air valve. Anyone who has flow problems should try this device with an

Great product if you use it the way it was designed.

Great product! I bought this to fill my pontoon boat and it works great. I used to have to hold a 5 gallon can and pour it into a funnel that often overflowed or spilled. Now I just put the canister on the gas cap, put the hose in the canister, put the nozzle in the filler neck. , pump the pen a few times and wait until the bottle is empty (about 2-3 minutes). The only attempt to fill the boat with gas now is to raise the tanks a few feet towards the boat. If you wish to fill another tank you…

Excellent pump, after some modifications

the first one broke the nozzle and the company does not sell spare parts. I've never had a gas canister that didn't leak when filled. I'm starting to think they're designed to leak. It's the only way I can fill up my lawn mowers and premix canisters without spilling gas everywhere! Just remember that it works like a siphon, which means the gas cylinder has to be higher than what you're filling with gas for it to work. It usually takes a pump or two to get it going and then it comes out quickly,

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No paint required

Worked great as a replacement for the pump that came on my 14 gallon Flo-n-Go - Gas tank broke. I think I broke the original by holding the handle open and then hanging it in my car's gas tank. The weight of the gas + clamp in the cold Ohio winters caused the plastic at the top of the black spout to stress crack right where it meets the red portion of the handle. So when you pump it up, don't be lazy, just leave it open, even if it takes a few minutes to deflate those 14 gallons. For assembly…
