Don't expect heavy loads but this is a great buy to upgrade your home on a budget. I replaced all the knobs in my house with these 4 months ago. As you can see from my photos the panels on the door frame have some wear but all the handles still look good and work. I photographed one of the most commonly used handles (hallway, bathtub). A tip: wear fluffy socks over the handle to avoid scratching the handle when attaching it.

We wanted to upgrade our crappy brass doorknobs to black. These were the most accessible styles we needed. Passage, privacy and fictitious handles. Easy to install after having to buy a special door drill as our 1950's doors didn't have the correct hole for modern handles. After we created the hole, the installation was standard. Not happy that they are easy to scratch. As soon as they scratch, the silver shines through. But still better than what we replaced.

Bought 1 of these to ensure I liked the look and quality before replacing over 30 doors in my home. I'm glad I didn't order them all at once! I installed the one I ordered on my home office door, which I think gets little traffic. After a little over 1 week of use, the black coating on the firing pin has already worn off.
