This tool does not work well with small latches

The top of the tool that should fit the latches is a bit too big for small latches. The provider fixes this and the tool should work fine for all sizes.

Easy to use, fixes a lot of things!

I used this to patch a pair of jeans and put insulation on a drafty door. The latches attached to the screws worked great for this. I just received it so not sure about durability.

Pliers work great but no instructions

These pliers are great. They are a vice with special latches welded to them. I would give 5 stars but the instructions are incoherent. They left me even more confused than before I read them. But when I started this thread, they work great.

Reinforce with buttons!

We used this to reinforce our velcro canvas and it was a great solution. We bought the buttons separately but they were easy to test on each material and as our canvas was a bit thicker my fiancรฉ just poked a small hole and then it was easy!

Do a few test runs before you tear

Instructions were pretty mediocre. I figured it out, but I also did a few test crimps before using it on my project. I also had to buy more shots because I put them on my boat cover. They worked great and after a month of bad weather I can say they are holding up!

Very easy to use - clamps and locking pliers

The velcro on my truck body cover has worn out so I bought the fasteners and these pliers to keep it in place. I've heard horror stories about people trying to use an anvil and punch to take snapshots. These pliers make the process so easy that I want to look for other things to snap into. If you're applying bindings to anything, this is a required item.
