Poor design, the part that moves to hide the tip just rotates in the normal position. You can't use it to rotate the screwdriver yourself, you need to hold your hand on the back of the screwdriver to rotate it, which is inconvenient. I think if you have small hands this might not be a problem, but definitely not for regular sized hands and certainly not big hands (long and not fat). in the retracted state "snap in" and serve as a fulcrum for the entire screwdriver. I bought this because of the new style and the ability to make it shorter or longer. I've been using this for the past few weeks. I like the design but the bit let me down under pressure. When trying to apply some force to the bit, the inner stop slipped between the bits, forcing the inner bit and outer bit into the sleeve.
