They work as advertised and appear to be of decent quality - solid, all metal etc. The problem (and I'm not sure of the terminology here) is that they aren't beveled properly. This means that if I try to use small drill bits I have nothing to center them on. The jaws don't close at the same time when tightening, so it's a lot of trial and error trying to get the bit right and centered. Once installed (which is usually never perfect) it works as it should. I would recommend this product. I'm not
This drill is not as advertised. The description of this item clearly states that the drill comes with a spring set to return the slide to the up position after a downward stroke. The pouch that comes with the drill clearly says "with spring" as shown in photo #1. Photo #2 shows a real drill without a spring. Does the drill work? I have no idea. I had one of these years ago but I've borrowed it or lost it. This new purchase looked identical but upon receipt I found it to be of very poor quality with a helical turning knob wedged haphazardly along the shaft. Adding some lube didn't help at all, and I found the device virtually useless unless you're using it on a stationary vise. Supplied with a plastic storage box marked 'India'. Not worth sending back for
