If you watch an installation video you have to accept the fact that you have to physically break the old shift knob to install it. Other than that, it's a pretty simple fix.

The item was damaged which was visible when unpacked. But unfortunately the old one broke completely. So I just kept it. But overall the quality was ok, the price was great and the installation took less than 15 minutes! View with video.

It was easy to install, the old one needs to be broken but pulled up. The trunk should be separated at the base under the shift knob. A new shift knob is fitted, then the boot is replaced. The whole process took about 10 minutes.

This was a cheap replacement for a good production model of our Buick Verano. The old knowledge was a real agony: first you pull up the plastic cover under the shifter. The fur is held on the stick by a zipper that is too small. You can either break it up and replace it, or try to loosen it and then try to put it back in place with pliers.
