Secure Your Truck With ISTUNT'S 5.5' F-150 Retractable Tonneau Cover Review

I just finished installing it. Over all, it's a 2 person job and the installation manual isn't worth the paper it's written on and the pictures don't help either. I didn't have to drill any holes. The weather strip is useless, I used a camper top seal (more waterproof). After we figured out how to assemble and install it, it looks good and I like the locking mechanism better than my old roll type cover. So far with all things considered I would probably purchase this one again

The cover had significant scratches, scuffs and faded/discolored paint upon arrival. There were also several minor bends in the metal cover for the roller mechanism that I had to repair before installation. There was no damage to the box, so it was either shipped this way or had inadequate internal packaging for shipment.The cover was relatively easy to assemble and seemed to function well but there were some plastic components that fasten the roller to the side rails that I don't think will be

Alright, first off it’s a great deal for a roll up tonneau cover, but there are a few things that happened with my installation I thought I would share. Just in case you buy. The silver beam that comes with your package, the video doesn’t tell you where to put it or how. I put mine on the front of the bed to close the gap under the roller housing. This cover came with poor instructions, but I managed to get it working. That was a mistake, I should have sent it back. The brackets do not hold the tracks in place. I had to drill holes into my Ford to get the Track to hold down the sides. The main cover housing is too heavy for the screws that hold it in place, so it has now detached, and the small screw holes are stripped, so it's no longer usable.

Cover didn’t fit flush but was able to work it so it did the job. Over good for the price was going to return but too heavy to pack back up

Install was easy after figuring out how to slide the rails into the cover. Instructions are terrible but the product is amazing and a very good price for what you get.

To start with, the box showed up with half the material hanging out because it looked like the thing was drop kicked out of a box truck. The next thing was realizing that the cover had some plastic components broken off of it from shipping (The drain tabs to allow you to divert the water to the bed drains).Once I got into it, the instructions were useless, not legible, and didn’t even resemble the product I bought. It was like a roadmap to hell. I think it was meant to be a ‘one size fits most’

This tonneau cover is better than covers that cost twice as much! easy install, extremely durable aircraft aluminum, low profile and great looking. Went on extremely easy and fast. No drilling required, smooth operation and great matt flat black finish.I highly recommend !

I ended up returning this item for the reason of you have to use self tapping bolts/screws into the vehicle. But when I opened the unit and looked at the build quality and it appeared very durable, especially at the price point. If you are ok with drilling into your vehicle thus will be a good budget friendly retractable cover. If there was no need to drilling into the vehicle I would have kept the unit.
