Died after driving in the rain 😞

Bought at the end of August. I really liked it because it was nice and bright and I get nervous on the street. I've had it for less than two months. I drove a century and got caught in the rain for the last two hours of the drive. The light looks like it's still charging, but won't turn on. This is very disappointing for the price of this lamp. I sent a ticket with See Sense. Let's see if they help me or not.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Something else

Very bright but installation and connectivity needs improvement

I am very impressed with the brightness as well as the battery life. Bluetooth connectivity is a great idea, especially driving monitoring and automatic accident/theft detection. The detection is too sensitive. I had trouble connecting to my phone several times. It also fell off my bike once, it "clicked" when I installed it. So I worry that I could easily lose a $100 taillight. Overall I give three stars.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Fair

Disappeared after the 5th ride

I have the original See.Sense lamp and I love it. So I bought the latest version so I can have a second one and change less bikes. See my photo in this review. The light disappeared after my 5th trip. I'm not sure if the retaining clip is really a good idea on the latest models. This is a very minimal number of connection points between the light and the mount that you see on my seatpost. So if you drive with bumps, road seams or potholes, this light is expensive and easy to lose.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Terrible customer service and faulty mounting bracket

I bought this flashlight for the easy to install gauges and highviz capability. I installed the seatpost mount correctly. At the same time, I thought that this fastening system was not that reliable. Then I turned on the light. While driving, the flashlight fell out of its holder and disappeared. I sent pictures to the company to show them the o-ring was defective and asked for it to be replaced. I was told it was impossible. I could lie and put the o-ring on before taking the picture. However,

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Expensive

The fastening system does not work well.

I had the See.Sense icon (1st generation). I really loved everything about this light! It was so beautiful, but then I lost it. I think I gave it to a friend to borrow but he never returned it. :(Anyway I wanted to buy the same light but there was only the second generation in stock so I jumped in and bought it. I tell you all the reviews are right. The mounting system is terrible and it doesn't hold the light to the bike seat It doesn't stand up to a long bike ride. If it falls, I don't notice
