Door wouldn't close

I tried them on 2 different doors just to make sure the door wasn't the problem but even my small pantry door wouldn't close with all 3 door hinges installed .

Matching product for Hinge

Used to close the patio door to minimize air and insects. It was never expected to snap as it was a heavily abused door. I thought a loop would do the trick but it took all three to swing. The instructions were bad. I pulled on one and it bounced, but took another hit.

One of the five streams

These closers are installed on all my interior doors to reduce drafts and dust migration. They work well and over time they seem to gain strength as they close. However, one of them is a stream! He squeaks. I sprayed some lube on the hinge inside and out but it still squeaks. Can the spring be loosened by one turn? Maybe I'm too tight?
