Comfortable on Athletic

I use these with my Bowflex C6 exercise bike. I was having pain in my feet from Pearl Izumi shoes and was looking for something wider in the toe box to accommodate my odd shaped feet (slightly wider in the toe, narrow heel). You are perfect! I also feel like I can get a little more strength, although it may be more from the lack of pain than the shoes themselves. They don't come with clips so I just swapped out the ones on my beads for this pair. The shoes arrived securely packaged and on time.

Really helpful to prevent pain

Most importantly, pay attention to Shimano's size chart. I am a woman who wears a size 10 and ordered a size 43 which fits me perfectly. From time to time I would suffer from pain in my knees and feet after cycling indoors. Since I would have recovered quickly, I wrote it off. After a while I started looking for possible causes, made additional adjustments to my bike etc. but with no improvement. I finally read an article about these shoes. After buying and wearing these shoes, I no longer have

  • Decent performance

  • I don't really like anything, it's ok

I love these shoes!

I bought a new spin bike, I had to buy normal cycling shoes. They are very comfortable but the sizing is a bit wonky. For reference, my size is 6 1/2 to 7 in regular shoes and 7 in sneakers. I tried 7/8 and they were too big and then I tried 6 1/2 by 7 and they were too small. In the end I settled on 7 1/2 which seems correct. Fingers crossed. The shoes themselves are very comfortable and the boots are easy to adjust. I persuaded myself to give up my usual "black for everything" and bought…

Great for long, sweaty rides Zwift

It's about time someone came up with some really good cycling shoes. I used super stiff outdoor shoes for Zwift rides (indoor cycling and training). They quickly deteriorated from sweat and the problems that can come with heavy workouts on a stationary bike. These Shimano shoes were great! They're super comfy and look almost like slippers, with embedded spikes that make them easy to walk around while you get ready for your workout. If you plan to use them at the gym, you can easily walk around…

Cycling shoes with a great back

I did a lot of research on my specific needs (wider feet and sweating) so the shoe had to be just right. The mesh around most of the forefoot of the shoe is designed to both accommodate my wider foot and allow for breathability. Even with the sizing chart, I had to read the reviews carefully hoping to find the right size as many people said it runs small and fits better. I usually wear a women's size 7.5 and ended up ordering a size 40. It's a bit big for me and next time I would choose a 39…
