Chinese crap! Don't buy this!

Three screws broke off when trying to assemble. I lost one of the heads which broke but you can see in my photo the screws didn't work. I just gently tightened them into the drywall with the included plastic expander/fastener. All three just broke one after the other with very little torque on the screwdriver - I was shocked. Please note that I only have one hole because every time I tried to put another screw in it it broke. DO NOT TRUST YOURSELF OR IN CONJUNCTION WITH CHINESE WOOD SCREWS. i…

Arrived quickly. for bath and shower rods

The product arrived quickly. It was exactly as described. I installed this product for a disabled friend of mine who uses two rails to help her get up from the toilet. The anchors that came with the product seemed very small for an item that would be subjected to a lot of force or "pulled" several times a day. I mounted one rail with the included anchors and the second rail with the larger drywall anchors. I hope both handrails hold up well. I will provide another update in the future if there…

Light weight but good enough

Good product as advertised but on delivery it turned out to be a lighter build than expected, far from hospital quality. No instructions were included and installation was hampered by poor quality screws, two of which broke off during installation, requiring heavier, better quality screws to be used to complete the job. However, once completed, the staves appear to be quite durable and useful. A weight limit of 200lbs should be considered when mounted horizontally, but as handrails to aid…

Small but sturdy, great handrail!

Received everything in good condition in a very reasonable time considering how far along we are here in the fiftieth state! So far I've installed 12 inch shower rods in the bathroom, kitchen, garage and front bedroom. The one in the bedroom is used as a trapeze to move around in bed to get comfortable or to help roll over or into a side sleeping position. Rungs in the kitchen twice as big, wide pull-out handles for pull-out shelves and rungs for towel rails. The same in the bathroom; Double…

Clean and sleek design great rod as

These 12" Gotega Bathroom Rods 2 Pack They appear to be very strong and heavy duty, this double rod can handle up to 200 pounds of pull. We installed one at the shower entrance in our main bathroom as it is quite deep and we all know accidents from falling in the shower are very common so this is a must have and the other one will go into the bathroom we assume. They come with a stainless steel case. 12" Metal Railing 12 Bolts Constructed of stainless steel, this product ensures long-lasting…

Residential class, good value for money

You will need your own wall plugs, 6 screws and wall plugs per handle. These aren't the heavy commercial knobs I'm used to fitting, but the smaller diameter and lower profile fit in more places, and they seem strong enough for my 200-pound pull test. Installation Instructions - You will need to drill holes in the wall, 3 per fixing point. When assembling the ends of the handle, first slide the latches onto the handle, then use the short screws to attach the screw ring to the handle. Make sure…

Good finish, strong.

Handrails have a good finish with no defects and are assembled without instructions as they don't have any - but it's easy to assemble, mark holes, insert your chosen method of holding (lever, wedge, cement anchor, etc. ), then install the rod and slide the tabs into place to hide the mounting plate and screw heads. As does EVERYTHING that comes with hangers/screws etc from your local hardware store. We all know that the materials in mounting kits are of very poor quality - wall anchors won't…
