Goes great with my framed shower door

Goes great with my framed shower door. I removed the rain gutter that was collecting the water at the bottom of the shower door because when you open the door all the collected water flows onto the bathroom floor. It took cutting off one of the rubber strips on the bottom.

This worked great on my metal framed shower door.

My shower door has a T frame that was supposed to use a telescoping door closer, but it is unusually wide and the one I ordered as a 'best guess' fell in 2nd place days out. I measured the door with calipers, went back and ordered this and it worked really well. I had to cut about 6 inches in length but that completely stopped the mess behind the shower door. Very happy.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Reliability

Very well made piece of plastic and silicone. In fact, this item is identical to the original brush on my glass shower door. I suspect that very few manufacturers actually make this item and that it is essentially the same product on different websites. My advice is to buy the cheapest version you can find as they are likely to be the same product. Regardless, the silicone strip is thick and the plastic body is durable and can be trimmed with a thin saw. A utility knife or utility knife willโ€ฆ

Works but not perfect

Fits underside of shower door after trimming. The problem is that two small wipers are so long that they do not allow the door to close completely. Luckily, the part that acts as a small roof can direct the water so that it stays in the shower tray even when the door is still ajar. Still a huge improvement over the OEM, which had a thin down liner that tipped nicely over the shower edge every time the door was closed or opened, but soon began to tear at both ends and had to be replaced. Works as described! Keeps water in my shower!

I used this in my old apartment. I was there about 5 years so it was a pretty good investment. I didn't want to wait for maintenance so I just bought it. There were always puddles of water on the shower door because there was a small gap under the door and the water only ran out during the shower. I made sure to check all the sizes on this list and my shower door. I bought one a little longer than my door so I could trim it. Cutting was pretty easy. I then simply attached it to the bottom edgeโ€ฆ

Won't last long

I installed it myself and it was an easy install. Cut to size, place clear silicone tub & shower door sealant in gap and press until smooth. After installation, it should lightly touch the sill of your shower door to prevent water from running out of the shower during use. Our sill has a slight inward slope to prevent water from collecting on the sill, providing even more tightness. Unfortunately, this particular Shower Door Direct seal began to crack after 19 months of use, while the originalโ€ฆ

Fits as described 0.5cm and easy to install

Fits my 1/2 inch thick shower glass and comes in a very tall box to prevent bending. My first shower floor replacement after years of use in a renovated shower. Of course, I didn't realize the original was breaking at the bottom until my significant other mentioned it to me. Okay, I tend to overlook things that make me work, but figured I couldn't kill myself fixing this. I read a few reviews and found that there were some sizing issues so I measured the thickness of the glass a couple of times

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Hard to tell
