Cheap and works well.

Worked great in my RZR 800s. Fixed the hard start issue I had with the old pump. Watch a YouTube video to learn how to install it. Update: Already 8 months old and still working fine. I was a little worried it wouldn't last as long for the price, but so far it's holding up.

Cons

Poor quality: spare parts

Identical to the original, same jumper harness, a bit difficult to install but fuel pressure drops after warming up (15 minutes after engine start) and the engine roughs, stalls and jerks. You don't expect that from a new pump. appears to be of good quality

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Cheap junk No guarantee

Absolute junk. Lasted less than an hour of use. Unfortunately it took me 3 months to use it for an hour so I can't return it now. Worked fine the first few times I used it, then it started having a hard time starting and then the pump stopped working altogether. Bench tested and it's shorted internally. Should have known you're not getting much for $20. Now I'm waiting for a new one while I have to use my car. *Email to seller, no response*

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Direct replacement for the 2008 Polaris Ranger Crew - IT WORKS!

Not the easy replacement I was hoping for, but in a few hours the old pump was replaced with no soldering or additional modifications. Runs a bit faster at lower RPMs but still has the same top limit (-50 mph) as expected. There isn't a long test yet, but I think I'll soon order another one to back it up. The fuel tank was sparkling clean so the pump failure was probably age related - 12 years of use and not "bad fuel" as is often the case. The crew now only gets premium fuel.

Not optimal for fuel system

Started installing the kit on my 2009 Polaris 500 Ranger today, needed a gas cap wrench to remove the pump assembly from the tank. Removing the pump from the assembly required some effort as the plastic housing has 3 built in clips which must be stretched at the same time to remove the pump. The problem I have is that the pump connector does not match the OEM cable. The pins in the connector do not align and fully engage the connector, do not mate with the mating connector. I am returning the…

It was nice to see that everything you need was there.

The pump arrived on time. There were a few parts in the package that didn't fit my application, but it was nice to see that anything you might need to replace was there for you. It installs in less than 30 minutes and works better than expected. Acceleration and pressure restored. I have a 2008 Polaris Ranger XP 700 EFI and the factory calls for 39 pounds (+/-3) of pressure. After installation, I got a steady 41 and 42 pounds of pressure from idle to 6100 rpm with no hesitation. What I logged…
