Unwrapped and packaging looks nice. The initial setup of an Amazon Fire HD tablet is difficult. Download management apps are not available on Amazon - sad. The GUI interface is weak and immature for a network security product. IE does not log firewall reports, it is very difficult to change management password. There is no online knowledge base. More information on wireless performance is yet to come, but now we're ready to go back.

I bought this router mainly to replace my original RATtrap which was limited to 220Mbps. Installing Simplelink was easy. It sits between my Arris modem and my Google Wifi router. Now I have two WiFi networks and no problems so far. Physically he was a bit taller than I expected. Using the web interface for Simplinet 2 offers more control options. I'll be brief. As for the 1-star rating someone has given, it's obvious that he or she has no idea how the SimpliNet security system is set up, reported, and how it works. I wouldn't trust that. SimpliNet 2 was very easy to set up. Very simple instructions for those who don't know how to set up a home wireless network. I had to make some minor changes to the system so I could see all my devices on my home security network, 41 in total (5 surveillance cameras). One of the really nice features is

I really wanted them to work but during installation I couldn't get the ethernet backhaul to work so I set it up for wireless backhaul and rebooted After a few hours, reset and power cycling I was finally able to get it working. Only they worked 48 hours and then got to the bottom. Reset, restart, cycle on and off again and they came back but fell off again a week later. I tried calling support but there was no answer. I don't have time to play around with them so I returned them for a refund.

I know the price looks attractive but don't waste your time. Trust me these things are garbage. I've played around with them for hours just trying to get a basic working network and they keep failing. Came back and left this review to warn you all.
