You must pierce your deck to use this.

I'm sure this would be great for showcasing skate decks, but there's no way I'm going to dig into my used signed Tony Hawk deck. Like on the property and on Birdman's skates himself. Won't happen. I will spend the extra money and make a professional frame.

They work great and look very good

Bought these for my husband to hang some of my retro skateboards on the wall in the man cave. They work great and look really good but be aware that if you're hanging horizontally you'll need two sets and it's REALLY tricky to line up the holes. Best suited for vertical suspension.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

For actual use, the board must be damaged.

The product does not match the full size board I am trying to show. The solution they propose is to drill holes in the plate to make it fit better, which is detrimental to the technique. This is not a limited edition board option that I intend to display and will never be acceptable for displaying other types of art.

Requires no deck drilling and is easy to use.

I was afraid to order these as I've seen a lot of people say they drill out their decks because the bolts are misaligned. I would never do that, so I was nervous. Luckily not in my case. They either fixed that problem or people mounted the deck sideways instead of just rotating the bracket to fit and hence the holes didn't line up. It's not fashionable at all, and frankly, it's not necessary either. $5 would be better but these are the cheapest I've found, easy to use and does what it needs to…

Not the best mount. But cheaper than others. .

It didn't fit so I had to drill through the body as they say. Chips in the wood when inserting the pin after drilling, very small chips, but on specially painted board it looks like crap. It's a good idea, you just need a better tip to hold the deck so you don't have to drill. Perhaps the spring will cut the steel point. I also had to trim the screws to get it closer to the wall. This setup is cheap and it works. But there are better mounts. You can do this for about $2 if you want to take the…

Good product but not perfect

The brackets are well made, solid and seem like a great product other than the fact you may have to widen the holes on the deck to fit the t-nuts to fit if you wish so that they fit the purpose. I didn't want to drill mine and risk damaging it, so I installed the boards with the nuts back to front so their black shank would stick out more. Aesthetically it's not perfect, but it serves its purpose. If your deck is 7/32 holes or you would like to rebuild it, you have no problem. If your deck has…

Awesome and easy to install but don't make it a floating option!

Love these guys, best value for money, does what you want and looks good. On their website they give "floating" options in the instructions if you just click on the board. To do this, you need to enlarge the holes in the deck by drilling. Do not do that! Firstly I now feel like my boards (did it on two before stopping) seem damaged, not sure how well the trucks will work if I ever plan to use them. Also, they don't feel all that secure just floating, especially since I have them over my front…

Works despite poorly made hardware

They work well for hanging boards but the metalwork isn't very good. I could tell that there was no quality control of the parts, such as B. the removal of chips or checking for errors. I had to use pliers to attach some black pieces to hold the boards in place (ordered 3 brackets). It serves its purpose, but not without difficulties. I found the price to be quite high given the simplicity of the gear and the poor workmanship, but appreciated that there was a discount on this offer if you…

I succeeded, but it's not the best solution for the application

It's not for nothing that the video instruction shows the re-drilling of the soundboard. This is because the equipment supplied is not suitable. While your experience may vary, most skateboards generally come pre-drilled with 3/16 inch diameter holes. Most but not all. You can revisit your prized signed or limited collector deck. Are you wondering why you have to drill into your prized decks to accommodate a ready-made T-bolt that can be found at your hardware store for a dime? The…
