    Great for replacing an old house

    We were trying to fix some pocket doors in an old house. Couldn't find anything at any of our local hardware stores. Found these and they were the perfect replacement.

    Pocket door wheel assembly

    worked just right for my needs. used on the door from approx. 1960, the original wheel set was removed by the previous owner. and the door was pocketed which didn't work very well.

    Don't waste time

    I am giving this one star because there is no pinion slot. I ordered a set of 2 and opened one. The wheel assembly will not stand up to a single job on nylon. I tried straightening one of the wheel rivets as it was bent and instead the whole strut was bent. I just tossed it straight into a circular binder along with the unopened one.

    Multi-lane lowering

    I bought these to replace the casters on a pocket door in the bathroom. On my first try I found that the gate was unstable and the rollers easily came off the track during normal use of the gate. After examining old and new rollers, I found that the "wheelbase" of this model is much shorter. I've ordered several Prime Line reels from Home Depot, which are much sturdier and have a wider wheelbase. Now the door works perfectly. These will be returned.
