Very reliable and convenient

These things are great. I have a bunch of single outlet models that are $10 at Wally World. This is a great concept. I use mine for a neon light in my bedroom as well as the air conditioner. I can turn the air on an hour before I get home from anywhere. In the winter I have a heating pad between my blankets that I use to keep my feet warm. I can turn it on from the living room before I go to bed. I also have some of the smart lights from geeni too. Only ever had an issue once or twice with the…

Pros
  • The Geeni Surge Cord Extender comes with a built-in surge protection system that shields your devices from electrical fluctuations, making it a reliable and safe option for your home
Cons
  • Device may not be compatible with all electrical systems around the world

I actually purchased a second one after the first was so easy to set up, and it seems to be pretty reliable. Google Home is notorious for suddenly not being able to find devices, but this power strip proves that it's Google Home and not the device. Even after something like a power outage, it quickly reconnects and reliably controls devices. Shame that more manufacturers can't produce that kind of reliability.

Pros
  • SURGE 4-Outlet Wi-Fi
Cons
  • USB ports may not work with all devices

Helps control energy usage

The ability to schedule when it turns on and off in areas of the house when I no longer use them helps control my energy bill.

Pros
  • The three-foot cord means you can use this surge protector in almost any room of your house, from your living room to your bedroom to your office
Cons
  • Users may experience connectivity lag when turning on/off devices

App is not great but power strip works well

The Geeni app kind of stinks so I manage the strip threw the Alexa app instead. I am happy with the product itself though and would purchase another.

Pros
  • 1.18 pounds
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for long-term use

Worked as advertised.almost

The product eventually worked as advertised. However, it would not sync with Bluetooth to my smartphone initially. However, after abo

Pros
  • SMART SURGE PROTECTOR: With 4 individual smart outlets, everything you plug in can be independently turned on and off from anywhere using the Geeni app. Plus, you can charge up to two devices with the USB charging outlets.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for travel due to its bulky design

Forgets its schedule

I have had this for quite some time now. When it works it is easy to use and works great. I have this installed to control the lighting on my aquarium. Every few months it decides it does not need my schedule. The lights turn on in the morning one day and never shut off. I delete the schedule and install a new one and still will not follow it. I can turn the lights on and off from the app. So it is not a case where the wifi isn't working. Factory reset time. Well this is annoying, but should be

Pros
  • CONTROL FROM ANYWHERE: Using your home Wi-Fi, set a schedule or remotely control up to 4 different devices from anywhere. Give each outlet a unique name and use them separately. Ask your voice assistant to turn your stereo on or turn the lights on/off.
Cons
  • May not be able to update to the latest firmware automatically

This is a "must have " when it comes to home automation

I have automated several homes with many brands, and this smart strip is priced nicely and easily installed and configured. This is the first of many that I will be buying for myself and others.

Pros
  • Wi-Fi
Cons
  • May not be able to connect to all Wi-Fi networks

Convenient when it works

Really like the numbered plugs which display which ones they are on the mobile app. I enjoy the ease of all the electronics plugged in and how alexa turns them on for me. Although I sometimes have issues with the wifi getting signal even though it tells me there is excellent wifi signal

Pros
  • The Geeni Surge Cord Extender is designed to protect your devices from surges and overloads, providing peace of mind when you need it most
Cons
  • May not work with all home automation hubs

This product works well and is relatively inexpensive so I can't knock it completely. However, I would like a web interface to be able to enable ports in an automated fashion. Example: power up a light plugged into a port in response to some event detected by a third-party device/system. Like a motion detector or a door opening.

Pros
  • The Geeni Surge Cord Extender is easy to set up and use, with a simple user interface that lets you control all your devices from anywhere in the house
Cons
  • May not work with all smart home devices that use the Zigbee or Z-Wave protocols

Worth Every Dollar!

I'm a new home owner and I work 12 hour shifts. When I go to work, the house is dark, and I'm using my phone's light to search for the living room light; same for when I come home. I've heard about hubs that turn on your lights with timers but I needed more than one plug.During my daily Ebay search, I found Geeni and the features I was looking for and its Alexa friendly! The setup is easy and the Alexa integration was simple. I've tested out the timers and now when I wake up and head out to the

Pros
  • The two USB ports allow you to charge your smartphones, tablets, and other devices without the need for a separate charger, keeping clutter to a minimum
Cons
  • Users may experience network interference

We LOVE this power strip. No more bending or contorting our bodies to fit under furniture in order to turn this power source off. We use Wi-Fi signal to operate it and it’s wonderful. I highly suggest this for the use with fishtanks, so you can hide the power cord underneath the tank and not have to worry about easy access later. Also, I’ll be buying more to use during Christmas, so that I can control my lights through my phone with the Wi-Fi feature. Highly recommended for those Who want the…

Installation is a bit hard but overall great purchase

Pros:- Very Convenient: For $19 (3 outlets), no more bending and reaching for awkward corners to turn on your cute lamps and LED light strip every night! Good for my back so yes!- Good customer service! Kudos to Ariya and Joel (I hope I got the names right I am sorry) who assisted me doing no less than 8 resets while being professional and friendly too, love it. Also love the call back option so I don't have to get brainwashed by waiting line music.- Once it's hooked it changed my life! I had a

Pros
  • The built-in Alexa and Google Assistant integration allows you to control your devices with your voice, making it easier than ever to turn your lights on and off, adjust your thermostat, and more
Cons
  • May not be compatible with surge protector replacement batteries

Great product for my opinion

Works great, the only issue I have is the schedule doesn’t always turn the switches on or off. It’s likely user error but since I can’t figure it out it’s a minor issue. But all and all the produce is great and I love how you can control each plug individually.

Pros
  • Easy to set up and use.
Cons
  • Bulky design takes up valuable outlet space
