🏠 Gray Smarthome SELECT 71899 Dual Laser Garage Parking System Review

We tried to fix it today. The lasers never turned on when plugged into several different outlets and when trying to use 2 separate batteries. Looks like we bought crap. A friend of mine has the same product that has worked fine for him, but we have tried to fix all the issues to no avail. Unfortunately our return window is closed so we'll have to buy another one, maybe try a different brand.

Worked fine for about a week then I had to turn it off and on again to get it working again. Then it went fine for a week. wash, rinse, repeat. Unfortunately it took a few months to put it in the garage, otherwise I would have returned it immediately. time, don't waste your money.

Bought two of these and so far so good. I've only tested them for a month, but they're nice and bright and capture movement with no problems. I would say there is one thing I would change about the design. It needs 360 degree movement, not just up and down, but it doesn't matter if you park your car where you want and then install it. My wife and I swap between 3 garages and my SUV is bigger than her car which changes parking dynamics. 360 degree movement would be a plus.

Item was unavailable upon arrival. The laser will not light up under any circumstances. I had my first chance to install this item today and Revain WILL NOT ACCEPT IT BACK as it is "outside the return window". It was for my wife's party in the garage. I have installed and used the same model in my side of the garage for many years so I am very familiar with installing and using the unit. I like the idea very much. Worked fine for 2 days then stopped. If the temperature in the garage is above about 32 degrees Fahrenheit, the unit will run. The device does not work reliably below this temperature. I checked the proximity sensor when it's below 32 degrees in the garage and nothing happens. Either there is a time delay between activations that prevents further triggering, or the sensor is somehow obscured. Over 32 and works great. I want the device to work as it is a very good…

Made of cheap plastic. The wire in one of the lasers broke the first time I tried to position the eye. However, Revain quickly replaced him. It doesn't offer as much distribution as I was hoping. I didn't feel comfortable trying to push them further apart for fear of breaking one of the lasers (the plastic seems so cheap). I had to position it about two meters away from the cars so that the light beams hit the windows of both cars; and it barely touches the corners of any dashboard. You park…

I can't believe all the bad reviews about this product. I've owned two of these for over a decade and they work extremely well and have never missed a beat. I just want my wife to pull her Tahoe about two inches into the garage, enough room to close the door behind it, so I bolted it to the ceiling. As she pulls into the garage and the laser beam hits a specific spot on her dashboard, she stops and is exactly where she needs to be for the garage door to close behind her. There is a refrigerator
