Good socks but lots of pilling

I love smartwool socks and have several pairs. This particular pair seems worse than others I have. The first time I washed them they started to curl up with little white threads showing horribly on black socks. Of course, this does not affect the functionality of the socks, but it is disappointing given the high price. It's probably just a specific version, so I won't buy these socks again, but I'll probably buy other fancy wool socks.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some flaws

These aren't yesterday's Smartwool socks.

I have been wearing Smartwool socks for many years, both in everyday life and when running. They've changed socks - they're not as thick and absorbent as they used to be, and they're very tight on the arch of the foot. They were so uncomfortable I couldn't wait to take them off! I took the scissors to a pair to release the tension around the top of the foot and it didn't work. I gave another pair to someone whose bow isn't as tall as mine. They are very expensive and I was very disappointed…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

  • Empty

New favorite socks!

I bought these socks for a month long hike in Europe. I have nothing but praise for these socks! They do what they say! Super thin and lightweight, wicks sweat away from your feet! I didn't have access to a washing machine during my entire stay and was easily able to hand wash them in the sink at night and wake up dry with them in the morning! They sit comfortably, don't rub anywhere and don't crumble. I walked an average of 20,000 steps most days and these socks have allowed me to get through…

Good quality, suitable for outdoor activities

My partner has worn fancy wool socks for many years, but it took me a while to try them. I thought the price for a pair was outrageous. But now that I've tried them, I get it. My feet don't stink that much because the material lets them breathe, the size is perfect, they don't pull on my toes or fall off my ankles, and my socks sit right over my tennis shoes and show almost nothing. as i like. Часть, которую я не могу комментировать, - это долговечность, хотя мой партнер носит свои различные…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Can't recommend highly enough for warm weather or tight shoes

I have a version of these socks that were on the market 6 years ago and as much as I love them all I can say is Wow! Smartwool has clearly evolved its product over the years, with increased comfort and performance being clear benefits/results. These are now the most comfortable ultralight socks I own. The material is noticeably superior to tactile sensations and feels good in both hands and feet. They certainly fit as expected (7.5 = medium) and weren't too tight or loose in any area. I…

  • Great construction

There are different types of wool socks

These socks are great, but be sure to choose the right pair. After buying wool socks over the years, I realized I needed to check the percentage of wool in my socks. This will tell you if they are appropriate for the way you intend to use them. - This particular pair is made from 48% wool which is great for running/training in any weather. They are thinner and lighter than other wool socks. - Wool socks with a very high percentage of wool (let's say 80% or more) tend to be thick and warm, but I

The Only Socks You'll Ever Need

Thin, durable, comfortable, stays in place, wicks moisture so your foot never feels wet, and naturally repels bacteria so they don't smell after wearing them once. I have several pairs and will never buy cotton socks again. I use them for running, with boots, hiking. I wore it on a river hike (the Narrows in Zion National Park) where you literally trudge in and out of the river all day and it worked exceptionally well, didn't retain excess water and dried very quickly. When I travel I take two…

Great socks! But these are small.

I liked how thin the Smart Wool Socks were and how breathable they were. Fashionable and unobtrusive. I love this brand, the quality is excellent! However, this style didn't work for me. I'm a size 9 and my regular Smartwool size, Large. I use them on purpose because they are lightweight and I wear them to sleep to cover up the leg detox pads I use every night to protect my sheets so I needed a breathable sock. The pads are thin. The first evening it seemed to me that the socks were too small…

  • This is amazing
