Gets the job best in my review

For 2ah, it lasts a good while on my lawn. I have a sizable Florida lot of St Augistine. But the battery will do the back of the house if its not too tall. Using my 21 inch Snapper XD mower, With 1 bar at the end of the mow. Swapping out to the next 82v battery does the front lawn with the same result.

Pros
  • Works for now.
Cons
  • The battery may discharge quickly if stored for extended periods

Do not buy the Snapper XD Mower or any other Snapper Product

I purchased an 80 volt Snapper Mower because I wanted power and dependability. I used the mower 5 times and then one of the batteries as well as the charger went dead. Snapper has the worst warranty department I have ever experienced. After following all of their warranty directions I am being told that the charger and battery are on back order and they do not know when I will receive it. In the meantime, still needing a mower I decided to order a charger on line to go with my one working…

Pros
  • Needed the extra life to mow a double lot and it did the trick
Cons
  • DOA

good product works well overpriced by about 40 bucks

again excellent battery but i do feel it is a little over priced. Charges quick and last a solid 30 to 45 minutes cutting grass.

Pros
  • Battery Packs & Chargers
Cons
  • The battery may not provide enough power for heavy cutting or pruning tasks

First review of the 4Ah pack

I bought the 4Ah battery; I already have the leaf blower and a 2Ah pack it came with. I didn't think about it before I bought this, but it is a) heavier, and b) longer than the 2Ah. It still locks into place into the leaf blower because, if you look closely, the plastic catch on the pack is about half the way down the pack, while on the 2Ah pack the catch is about 3/4ths way to the end. The weight and balance is not so good with the leaf blower. It leans backwards when held by the handle, and…

Pros
  • 1 Lithium Ion batteries required. (included)
Cons
  • The battery may need to be replaced after only a few uses

Great battery. Quick and easy charging.

Used for my new electric snapper mower. This battery is twice the size and power than the 2.0 Amh batteries that came with it.

Pros
  • Environment-Friendly: Electric-powered tools are known to be eco-friendly compared to gasoline-powered engines. The Snapper XD Cordless Electric Tools Battery is no exception, as it produces zero emissions and harmful fumes, contributing to a cleaner environment
Cons
  • The battery may not recharge properly after being completely depleted

No charging station

Battery didn’t come w a charging station, and none was mentioned to be needed.I’ll purchase from the local hardware store next time.

Pros
  • Easy to Use: The Snapper XD Cordless Electric Tools Battery is designed to be user-friendly with a simple, intuitive interface. With no cords, complicated procedures or bulky parts, it ensures smooth, effortless operation, reducing fatigue and stress on users
Cons
  • The battery may be difficult to find if users need to replace it

Hit or miss. in my review

Battery came discharged. When battery reached half charge it stopped charging and charger light indicated defective battery. I didn't have time to wait for a replacement so I purchased one locally and it was fine.

Pros
  • Quick and Consistent Performance
Cons
  • The battery may be too expensive for some users, who may prefer cheaper options

Good not Great good for me

Had for 2 years now. Got 2 batteries and charger so I can switch out. I use for weed and blower. Usually I can get the weed eating done but always need to switch out before blowing. Today, one of my batteries stopped working.won't charge with a blinking red light. Saw where to fix by unplugging the charger but didn't work. $135 for a battery is pricey. Expect this to last longer than 2 years.

Pros
  • BATTERY PACK IS WELL DESIGNED AND HAS AN EASY TO READ CAPACITY GAGE.
Cons
  • The battery can only be used in cordless tools and not as a standalone power source

Previously Opened Product

This battery might be fine, but it arrived in packaging that looks previously opened. Considering I'm paying $129 for a freakin battery, I'm not happy about that at all. So my review reflects that, and the fact that the battery it's replacing only lasted about 3 years.

Pros
  • Works great in the lawn mower. Leaf blower eats them alive if you need full power.
Cons
  • The battery is not interchangeable with other cordless tool brands

I decided to pay a premium and purchased the entire Snapper 82v series of lawn care tools. I wanted one battery for all of my tools. One battery lasted a year and the second battery lasted two years. I will be selling the tools and going with gas powered tools. I tried to be "green" but the poor battery life has made me rethink this idea. My last gas mower lasted 17 years. This system (due to the battery issues) lasted 2 years.

Pros
  • I love it you can’t beat Briggs products
Cons
  • The battery may require special disposal methods due to its lithium-ion component

Battery won't charge

Even though I bought this in 2019 we just started using it. Was very happy at first until the chainsaw died and the battery won't charge. This is not a cheap battery. I expect it to last. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Just wish the battery held up longer!
Cons
  • The battery was defective-didn't charge-was dead. The return was successful.

Updated 5/1/2021 - so far so good! one battery took care of 1/4 acre of grass with a bit of power to spare. we have more grass i need to get to but for now a great start imho.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------i recently picked up the Snapper XD 82V MAX Cordless Electric 19" Push Lawn Mower which comes with two batteries. i wanted to have a third, a spare to have in hand for on down the road. i have yet to test…

Pros
  • Battery charges quickly (one hour or so) and delivers plenty of power. Looks good
Cons
  • The battery may not be compatible with all Snapper XD cordless tools

Perfect for what I need it to do

I have a small yard and I have this battery and the Snapper String trimmer and Leaf blower. Everything works great and I can typically get most of it done on a single charge of a 2.0AH Battery. Looking to add the chain saw and maybe 4.0AH Battery. I really like this stuff but it is expensive.

Pros
  • Love it
Cons
  • The battery has a limited warranty period

Almost twice as big as the 2 amp version.

Almost twice as big andd do heavy as the 2 amp version. Works fine for the mower but incredibly heavy for the seed whip and leaf blower.

Pros
  • Charging quick
Cons
  • The battery may be difficult to insert and remove from the cordless tool
