Ideal for drilling 1/4 "-20 washers and nuts

The large diameter of this 3/4" drill bit is ideal for drilling a 1/4" washer and inserting under one Wood surface. Also works well for SPAX and other brands of 1/4" power lags. This part is one of those things you don't need until you do it and then wonder how you ever managed without it.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

not cheap but worth it

Makes perfect holes, perfect score, made in the USA. Pictured is a piece of maple that I drilled for the "crib" or "connector" studs. I drilled holes in the wood first, then taped the steps and then ran the drill REVERSE so the tape wouldn't break. The band doesn't have much shoulder and I've noticed that it twitches when rotated forward/clockwise. The holes came out so clean it looks like factory work, not something I made in my kitchen.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some mistakes

WOW, this tool surprised me.

Very good quality. Ideal for countersinking screws with #2 washer. Plugs fit snugly in countersink. After 1200 holes in plywood and about 700 holes in oak and 500 holes in maple the last hole is as clean as the first. I wanted to buy a carbide countersink but shipping/availability led me to buy this countersink for high speed tools. Passed the project and still works like new for a fraction of the cost of carbide. Never before has there been a production project with so many countersunk holes…

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Damaged
