Excellent Socks: Compression socks

These socks are comfortable to the touch and wear well. This is my second pair. They have exactly what I need for compression.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging

Great socks! - Active

They really fit my large calves like they should. They are very comfortable and the only look I can wear all day. They also wash and dry well in the washing machine and tumble dry on a gentle setting on a low heat.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Legacy

Disappointed with the clothes

I have several pairs of sockwell socks of different colors. This is the only color that appears unfinished from above. The upper is not tightly woven like every other pair I've bought. I sent them back for fear they might disintegrate with use.

Pros
  • The delivery was very fast
Cons
  • I will say nothing

Read descriptions carefully.

I'm a big fan of sockwell golfs, but the sheer flattering doesn't make it clear they're meant for wide calves. And the reason I buy socks is so they stay on my skinny calves. So I had to send them back. Otherwise I would rate my other orders 5 stars.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons

Holds up and is very comfortable

On days I forget to put my socks on for work I definitely notice the difference. I work 10 hour nurses and on the days I walk in my regular socks my legs get heavy and sore towards the end of the shift. I've been buying these socks for 4 years now, they are durable and really make a difference.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Goat! Tom Brady out of socks!

I've been wearing compression stockings under my uniform for almost a decade. I've tried every brand and style. They are by far the best, most convenient and user-friendly. I have medium calves and they are designed for larger calves but they fit comfortably. worth $$. Came back to buy another pair.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Very good base layer and compression stockings

I work 12 hours a day in clogs. I generally choose wool socks for their moisture-wicking and odor-fighting properties. However, wool socks tend to be thick and will pucker during a 12-hour shift. These wool blend socks are the perfect thickness and don't pucker in my shoes. Also, they offer good compression and stay up all day, and my feet don't sweat or smell.

Pros
  • Good to wear
Cons
  • Only available in black

Too tight for wide calves

I'm 5'10 and 115 lbs, shoe size 7, but I have genetically muscular 16 inch calves. One had the feeling that they are not made for wide calves at all! They were very tight, the top strip left a deep dent and the design of the socks left angle marks on my calves after I took them off. Even the ankles were tight and I have relatively thin ankles. They are said to fit calves up to 22 inches but I don't see how that's possible.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not bad

Comfortable without straps but short lived

I really like these socks, I ordered them in several colors and I have a pair for every day of the week so I wash once a week. They are comfortable, don't dig in and leave a red mark on the ankle even after 12 hours of wear. Other brands leave behind painful ankle creases in as little as 4 hours. While these socks swell excellently when new, after 3 months they lose too much compression capacity to prevent top foot and ankle swelling and need to be replaced. I have lymphedema and wide calves…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • The negative point is there
