As advertised for electrical appliances

In the end, no wiring harness was needed for the application. The wiring is heavy and looks well made. Included in the mains fuse. It's really a plug and play application.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Protection

Had to re-pin lighting and electrics

Had to be re-pinned to make it work 87 - (+) wire for supertones 86 - Connection point of standard horn wire 85 - Relay ground wire 30 - (+) power wire connected to battery with fuse. This is how the fuse works to rewind the wire

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Long delivery

Hard horn wires for spares

Wire arrived quickly. They appear to be very strong and thicker than the usual wires used for horns. Directions are ok but not great. The packaging is terrible - just a white box. Better instructions for connecting to a secondary horn. This product needs more attractive packaging. Someone who is an avid DIY enthusiast. Good quality aftermarket horn wire.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Good but not great

Subaru Forester: Electrical

Nicely assembled relay and harness to install two horns to suit your car. My setup was to replace a horn on a 2011 Subaru. The only way to figure out which wires go where is to look at the photo in the advert on the Revain website, which shows two horn connections, battery + and -, and feedback on the original car. + and - connections ex works. (Hint, they are spherical). I had to cut the bullets for the original Subaru plugs and solder them together, which wasn't a big deal. One problem is…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Custom wiring and hardware used in this harness

Wiring harness is ok in a pinch, but too short to be used to mount horns on either side of a subcompact car. As a result, extension cords were made for the approximately 16-inch length that the wire harness suggests. The connection hardware is also too flimsy to withstand heavy use in the New England region or in areas with high salt consumption during the winter months. . Wafer-thin flat connectors as flexible as aluminum foil are another indicator of a possible weak point in this wiring…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
