From the first day our motorized blinds were installed by a professional I was disappointed with Somfy. Can't warn people enough to do their homework! Stay away from Three Day Blinds, stay away from Somfy. All products are faulty and rarely work as they should. We tried to buy this gadget to help. My Somfy system became a brick

My entire ground floor was on Somfy radio controlled motors with a 3 channel remote control. I saw this article and thought it would be great to be able to control it from my phone. Cannot pair with iPhone running iOS 14.2

Tried for a week - not good. Every time I try to pair this with my phone it fails. The WiFi hotspot this device creates does not last long enough for my iPhone to connect. The device will restart while the app tries to find it. Great device automation, but read on for initial connection issues

I currently have a myLink device set up and it's working great (I'll get back to that later), but initial connection issues are a real problem. Every time I ran the application's connection wizard, in the fourth and final step, my Fios router would not connect to the myLink device.
