Make sure you have other clamps, the ones supplied are weak, when you tighten the screw it will break off. It's easiest to determine when two people do it.

For a price you can't go wrong I've been looking for air intakes under $400 that do the same. This system looks clean and is easily entered. I would recommend using it instead of k&n or trd.

After a few months this item is holding up perfectly. Installed on a 2029 Tacoma TRD Sport, the installation was fairly easy for one person, about an hour's work. This produces a nice growl when you hit 3500+ rpm. As for gas mileage, keeping it in the 20-21mpg range seems to have helped. I recommend this one.

I only have half the parts needed for my truck so I can't fit them. It is not clear from the description which parts are included and which must be purchased separately. The picture shows the intake pipe, but I didn't receive it with other parts and I can't find just the pipe anywhere. I'll update my review when I contact support and see what's going on.

The Bad: As other reviews point out the clips suck - they just don't fit so plan on using at least 2 standard clips. On the plus side, the sound is fantastic once you hit 4000rpm, but surprisingly there's no annoying hum at normal cruising speeds. There may be a slight increase in mileage, but don't count on it. Pickup is immediately better at idle in my opinion, and then noticeable again above 4k. Overall this would be a 6 star rating if it came with the correct clamps.

I have used Specter air intakes a few times and knew they would meet my needs. Don't expect a huge performance boost if that's your main reason for getting one. But if you want something that's worth putting your foot down on, it costs money. Easy installation. Simple instructions. First I want to say that it looks good after installation. Bad news. Disappointing installation. First, the rubber grommets are barely long enough to connect the air hose to either the air intake or the air box. If you deviate a little, it will not connect. A little more clearance is required for easier installation. Second, the clamps that come with it are a joke. They look good, but you may not be able to tighten them enough to ensure a secure fit.
