When I bought this device I knew there were no perfect tracking collars. This is still possibly the best of a bunch of not-so-great options. If it works, it's great. Like others, we often get inaccurate reports of where dogs are (many feet away when they're close to us). I spent over $600 on this so I expected it to work. When my dog is sitting next to me with a clear view of the sky, the remote shows my dog running up to 250 feet in all directions.
