Bought used but not recognizable. Packed in original packaging and appears unused. Nothing could go wrong for a deal. You probably spent half the amount on shipping. Holds our 2 bikes great and has room as it's designed for 3. Attaches firmly to the back of the SUV. I haven't tried it on the trunk yet.

I think three bikes would be a bit unstable but for 1 or 2 it worked great for an 8 hour highway trip in bad weather. You'll definitely want to either wrap the rear ends of the straps around the bike, or carry some extra bike tie-downs - they come with a strap for this purpose, but that's not enough. A good option if you don't have a towbar.

I fitted this carrier to my car today and am very impressed. I have a Honda Civic 06, everything is fine. You have to adjust the levers and at first I thought I was struggling because I didn't feel like I could fold them up like you should and they still fit in the car but I did fine. I first ordered this frame about a month ago. As usual, I received it a day before the delivery date. However, the rack that was sent to me did not include the 80" strap used to attach the bike to the rack itself. There were only 6 belts; Although I was able to attach the carrier to my car, I could not attach my bike to the carrier.
