I claim I received a defective item

I received this item 3/6 - planned to cut holes for (2) 4" recessed lights. Did this on the first hole and noticed the teeth just don't cut very well. I used this on cypress (a type of softwood) and couldn't get the hole completely done. Returned as defective. Your mileage may vary (YMMV).

Great tool. Use it properly.

The Spyder 4 1/2" hole saw is as good as anything I've ever used, it's sharp, well built and precise. As is any tool use them properly. NEVER TRY TO USE A LARGE BOX IN METAL WITH A HAND TOOL! You will hurt yourself. I cut in 1/4" aluminum, went like clockwork.

High quality hole saw and ideal for 120mm fan holes

GREAT hole saw for the price If you're the type of person who wants to add 120mm fans to various projects then you need this hole saw. While not 120mm, anything available in the US other than 120mm isn't that good for the price (and a slightly smaller size looks better - then the fan will cover all areas of the cutout). I did a clean job on my steel computer case to add a top fan (see photo - intentionally misaligned due to motherboard/case) and did a great job with the case my computer fits…
