Great strong yet flexible cable.

Very strong cable. I was surprised at how flexible the cable was for the force I had to use to cut the cable. Used to create an outdoor run for a mix of 50lb boxers. Would easily buy again.

Pros
  • ---Flexible and abrasion-resistant---This black, vinyl-coated, stainless steel cable is insulated and waterproof, making this flexible cable safe and very durable. The black color is easy to hide at night;
Cons
  • Durability

Easy 1 day project!

Before and after photos tell the whole story. Now we can enjoy a completely unobstructed view! Removed existing railing, drilled holes in existing posts and attached wire to end posts using kit (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G86WJXM/). I substituted screws that are thicker and longer than those included in the kit to keep the wires under a lot of tension. Finished with 1/2" black tubing for the top rail. I also ordered a cutter and crimping tool combo (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0…

Pros
  • ---Wide Application---Perfect for daily life, such as garden, aerial clothing, cable railing installation, etc. Ideal for deck cable railing system, DIY balustrade, outdoor shade, garden hanging garland, construction float for oyster farming, clothesline, or even a walkway system for dogs in the backyard.

Best option for black cable protection even in bad weather

These cables went really well with the modern look we were looking for in my home. They are stainless steel inside and wrapped in a nice black plastic. They have been installed for about 5 months and have not shown any signs of wear in rain, sun and salty air. I ordered nine rolls of cable and had no problems. This is by far the best way to make black cable railings. Other options cost 2-3 times more. Remember that you need at least 2-3 inches of slack when installing as the black outer layer…

Pros
  • ---Good Construction --- 7x7 construction (7 groups of 7 strands woven into one cable) that is flexible. Good cable type for working with bends and angles on cable railings
Cons
  • Low maintenance
