This is the best grater I have ever owned. It's a heavy metal and doesn't bend inwards when I'm grating hard cheeses etc. The bowl fits well. Love it.

That's a big YES. My six year old is very interested in cooking and baking. We got this so he can shred cheese as well as carrots and zucchini for cakes and bread. We've used it twice and now it's been through the dishwasher 3 times. It's as strong and sturdy as you could hope for and comes out spotless in our dishwasher. I've been seriously looking for this type of grater everywhere!

This cheese grater did not disappoint at all! It's versatile, cuts quickly and easily, has a beautiful finish and is just the right size. It has multiple sides and a small storage container that you can use to grate cheese or veggies. It's easy for me to hold on to and it's also easy to clean. It was less expensive than some of the more well-known kitchen brands, but it seems to be popular with other people who have bought it.

I bought one a few years ago. While visiting my son's house recently, I discovered that he has several graters, but they were all awful and difficult to use. I ordered a duplicate of what I have for his house. The grater has a kind of sticky bottom so it stays on the table while grating food. Then, if you have leftover cheese that you haven't used yet, it has a tight lid to keep the shredded cheese fresh in the fridge for a while. Enjoy!

I chose this product because it looks very functional and I liked the black anodized finish. I thought that the black coating would make the product easier to wash. Before use I washed with warm soapy water and let dry. My first touch was a chunk of sharp cheddar cheese on a paper plate. I noticed a few black flakes in the cheese so stopped using it. Some things that helped me buy photos and videos are the strength of the product and a small container for collecting chips.
