The switch works great on OBS Ford Trucks. Remove the old switch and install the new one with a 9/16" deep socket. After installation, slowly close the door on the switch to set the proper depth. If you have mechanical skills, you should have no trouble installing The only thing to be sure is that you have to be careful not to lose the wiring in the door.It should take 5-10 minutes to install.

Good working part. I got this for my 2000 Cherokee, installation was quick and easy, if you've never done this before watch a short video on how to do it. I've been using this part for a while and haven't had any problems so far, the quality is there and the price is right. I definitely recommend it. (My overhead light stayed on when the door closed and limited the problem to that, this actually solved my problem) for those wondering.

No Instructions First! No worries! When I saw the new part in the box I thought it would not fit my 1990 Ford F-150 5.0L V8. After removing the old block with a 9/16 deep head and fitting the new block to the old block, they were the same length.
