🔧 Enhanced Fuel Injector by Standard Motor Products - Model FJ454 Review

While my 2003 Wrangler was running great, I replaced the injectors with stock FJ454s just for general maintenance. Precision fit, easy to make and even better to work with. I recommend this part.

The standard has been around for as long as I can remember. I buy electrical parts for cars and motorcycles etc while building and racing. Their products meet high standards, are manufactured qualitatively and economically. Older Harley Davidsons use a point system, but instead of using OEM points from HD, they use the same point system for the 6-cylinder Chevy engine.

Looking at many nozzles many of them are simply rebranded as cheap junk from an unknown Chinese manufacturer, most of them are of very poor quality. Decided not to risk time and headaches using cheap junk in my 2000 Cherokee. The local auto parts store said $57 for these standard brand injectors ($345 for 6). I am happy beyond expectations. These atomizers work great no complaints I also bought the standard electrical connectors for them and they worked great great quality as usual with SMP. They were installed on a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0. I hope I don't need it for a long time, but if I need it I'll buy Stock Motor products again. I say Mystery Part because I'm not 100% sure what I installed. This is an injector but I ordered a standard FJ454. The one in the box is marked 01G0518 which not only doesn't match the box but even an internet search turned up very little and nothing reliable for that number. As I ordered an item in an open box, there is a chance I may have received a different item than if I had bought a sealed new box, but I doubt it.
