I removed the ignition switch under the dash. Instead of using original parts, I decided to replace the old switch with a new one. It was a very good replacement.

Works well but very difficult to switch between positions with the key. I'm not sure if it's the cylinder or the switch itself. Otherwise it is in much better condition than the original.
