Read full review good for Triple Square Drive

Great swivel, sturdy and seems reliable, I use it every day so I'll check it out. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is that the spring loaded ball that holds the socket in place is hard to push in which is great because you don't want the socket to fly off and hit you, but at the same time most breathes is somehow uncomfortable to get the outlet. Equal in my book I think!

Works great and well made.

Yes, the thing is a little big and thick. However, it works great with my 1/2" drive impact wrench. I've used it many times on some really difficult screws and there hasn't been any sign of wear or damage. The ball runs very smoothly and operates at a fairly wide angle. It actually works at a higher angle than the Hazet universal joint I have. I would say the only downside is that the stylus lock is too aggressive and you can never remove the head without using another tool to insert the stylus

Reliability and more in Sockets and Socket Sets

I'm not sure what's going to break this thing. I'm not even sure if a punch that uses 1/2 inch can break it. It's a fat piece that's not meant for tight spaces, but if you find yourself in tight spaces a 3/8-inch might be better for you. It's designed to lock anything you attach to it, so you don't have to worry about the base or extension slipping off with a ball lock. The Proto does industrial stuff and I bet it would be pretty frustrating if the tip slipped off at the worst possible moment…
