Fiction. I don't know why they hide these things

Fantastic. I don't know why they hide these things. Depressurizing the cooling system on an older machine to save on gaskets is a good idea. the hat was great. I use this in old GM cars. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Goes well with my old car.

Restoration of a fairly old 51 MG TD which was extensively modified by the previous owners. It didn't originally have a supercharged cooling system (one of several modifications), so I wasn't sure which radiator cap I needed. The one on it (rated at 9psi) started leaking when heated, so I had to do something. This one fits and seems to work great. There are no leaks at all.

Pros
  • Excellent overall specifications
Cons
  • Discarded

Special Low Pressure Cap

If you're one of those people who do their own mechanical work on their vehicles, chances are you've experienced a tiny permanent coolant leak. A few drops of antifreeze on a water cap or on an old radiator that's too good to recycle but has a wet stain that never goes away. Or a weak water pump that starts to leak. Sometimes it's best to switch to a lower pressure cap to keep the coolant where it needs to be. This gives you the time you need to decide what other options you have. but most of…

  • Delivery was very quick

Hard to find 7psi to avoid problems on older cars

If you need a radiator cap that will reduce the chance of leaks and hose ruptures on older cars this will fit my radiator. Happy with it. If your cooler uses a larger cap and has a cap on top of the cooler (rather than a remodeled bottle) this will likely fit. It doesn't match the small style that many import models use. However, be aware that 7psi lowers the boiling point of the coolant, which can be an issue if you're running above 225 degrees, which I avoid when possible. I even managed to…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Low repairability
