We ordered the two doorbell, two chime package plus ordered one extra chime. My husband decided to paint all the units a wood-grain color to blend in. The Doorbells work great and the chimes were set for different sounds for the back doorbell and the front one so we can tell which was rung by our visitors. The chimes ring loudly if you pick a loud musical sound; we did. There are many choices. We are extremely happy with our purchase.

So far this item seems to fulfill the promises made in the item description. Good distance and reasonable volume. The omission of being able to step back when choosing a chime and having to go through the entire chime list until you find the one you want is a slight irritation. But all-in-all a solid product that does what it should do and for a good price.

I originally purchased this and was not happy as the plug in one did not work. But the customer service was stellar and they sent me a new one that has worked well for quite some time now. Volume and ring tones can both be adjusted. A lot to choose from.

This doorbell system works! I have tried other systems and not one comes even close to this system. The "ringers" plug directly into any AC receptacle and do not require batteries. The "ringers" can be easily relocated when needed and the two units that come with the system provide adequate coverage for the average house. Just received these today and set them up. We have two doors, and the old wired doorbell was not loud enough, nor could we distinguish which door bell was rung. With these door bells we can easily hear them and the two different tones tell us which door to answer. We ordered some more receivers today so that each of the three floors in our town home has a pair. Highly recommend this product.

Bought this unit with the additional module for both from and back doors in order to have 2 separate rings and 2 ringers. After a couple days 1 unit lost the program and it went to the default ringtone. I reprogrammed the unit several times only to lose the ringtone to the default. I bought this 'add-on" to replace the bell unit on a full set that I had bought earlier. The bell unit on that one went bad after just 3 months. I've speculated that it was susceptible to an energy surge. So, I've plugged this one into the surge protector that I use for my computer.
