4k TV with Quadro K4200 GPU. Every time the system went to sleep or I logged out, it took at least 5 minutes to wake up. When he came back, the monitors were out of order and all the icons were out of place. Startech's help was very good, but in the end they were unable to fix the problem. I removed the MST and installed a Quadro M4000 GPU with 4 DP outputs (so no MST needed) and everything is fine. I have mapped MST to another system driving three 1920x1200 monitors driven by the motherboard…

It's pretty annoying. It must be swapped or eaten.

Not sure if I need to replace this thing. Bought 7/13/17 to set up 2 new monitors and 50% of the time the computer is on I have to turn it on and off multiple times before it recognizes the monitors instead of just staying black and showing no signal. I tried turning on the monitors on the computers first and vice versa. There doesn't seem to be any difference. It's pretty annoying. Does that need to be changed or is it like that? I'm hoping to get a response from someone at StarTech as soon as

Top quality, works as it should. (Addressed Flicker Below)

I bought two of these and two StarTech Mini Displayport extension cables - perfect match for my home and office furnishings. I use my laptop screen and three 19" full screen monitors at the same time - no problem. We ended up getting a few more of these at work after seeing how well they work with my setup. This hub works as advertised and is worth the money. Those who have reported problems with screen flickering are most likely having problems with their computer hardware (graphics card), not

Works as I expected.

After reading some of the other reviews I was very cautious about purchasing. I just bought 4 Dell monitors with display ports and a new Dell I7 PC. I set everything up about 3 weeks ago, so far everything is working great. Perhaps some of the other reviewers are, shall we say, "technically failing". I'm fairly tech savvy, but it was a breeze (basically plug and play) to hook up the monitors and display the images on my screens. A bit of tweaking in Windows and setting up the Dell Display…

  • PRACTICAL: MST Hub (Multi-Streaming) has an integrated 15 cm video cable (DisplayPort) and an included 19" Micro USB-A power cable (48 cm) (bus-powered) | Supports LPCM digital audio
Cons
  • Not sure

Initially, this DisplayPort1.2 worked Hub works well with my ASUS GL551J laptop (uses a Mini DisplayPort 1.2 connector). It supports DisplayPort 1.2, so monitors can be daisy chained. I used a hub to output video to 2 external monitors (ASUS VP278Q-P 27 inch monitors)1) After half a month the temperature of the device reaches 50 degrees Celsius (it was too hot to touch until I left it for a few minutes) 2) Last week the DisplayPort 1.2 hub stopped working for the right monitor but kept…
