Great blade, great service

Exact OEM product. Good price and fast delivery. I know the blade will work just fine as it is a replacement and genuine Stihl.

Pros
  • High quality steel blade for professional use.
Cons
  • Good but not great

Absolutely perfect blade.

Absolutely perfect blade.! It cuts small trees up to 4 inches in diameter. Of course you need the right machine for this. I have a Stihl FS 240. Great car too.

Pros
  • Can be sharpened on site with round file and guide
Cons
  • Retrofittable

Perfect fit for my needs

The blade is great for branches and bushes up to 2" that I cut. I haven't tried big branches yet. This is an amazing blade that I want to use again and again. I might try using a carbide toothed blade for durability as I was so impressed with this bit. Be careful not to hit rocks or dirt as these will quickly dull or destroy the blade. If necessary, it can be sharpened with a flat metal file.

Pros
  • with bike grips and double shoulder strap
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Sturdy, cuts well, learn how to sharpen

Used one of these for a few years of intensive use. They cut well when sharp and can easily be trimmed with a round chain saw file. Tried some carbide blades and although they also cut well initially, after a day they became dull with broken teeth. emissions. The Stihl blade has allowed me to use a blade in rough usage for over 2 years, primarily cutting bushes/seedlings. Yes, you have to re-sharpen them, but it's not difficult and they last a long time. Went back to the Stihl knife.

Pros
  • Must be used with stopper instead of standard deflector. The device must be equipped with
Cons
  • There are defects
