Goes really well with life jackets and vests

Low profile, I like the large pocket. I even like the cheerful and highly visible color. I'm sure many of the others I was originally interested in sold out due to supply issues. I'm glad I stopped there. I had a similar Stolquist vest in the 2000's and it appears to be a similar updated version. Very satisfied with the price and the quality. I bought it for motor boating and kayaking.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Available in white only

Very comfortable, great for OC1

I carry this in my OC1, I'm a beginner so I capsize a lot (shit) of course the life jacket keeps me afloat while I climb back into the boat. It doesn't bother me at all when rowing, the shoulder straps are very well padded, I forget I'm wearing it. Not too heavy either. I put the radio and food in the bag and fixed the molle water bottle holder in the front with a straw, I can drink without taking out the water bottle, done!

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Volume

Great life jacket, one design issue

Great life jacket, great freedom of rowing. The backrest is medium length and interferes with our seat a bit. Also, I usually like big heavy zippers, but this vest has a little problem. The zipper closes from the bottom up and is large in size. After several days of canoeing, repeated lightning strikes gave me a bruise on the underside of my bicep. The easy fix was to leave the PFD half closed to avoid breaking the deal. My rowing buddy had the same PFD model and didn't have this problem.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Problems happen

Easy to set up. Cozy. Good bag.

I bought four of these because I noticed that the same make and model are being worn by the guy browsing kayaks on You Tube. I like the side zip which allows the central pocket to be perfect for easy access to my phone. Our family uses our buoyancy aids when using both kayaks and paddle kayaks and these vests are comfortable for any type of kayak. The arm section allows for easy movement. Adjustments are easy - if you buy this and don't like the initial fit, play with it a little. It isโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No assault rifle

Definitely worth buying

If you are a kayaker, this kind of vest is your best choice. Those with full shoulder buoyancy don't work as well because their pauldrons stick up toward your ears, making paddling difficult. I am very happy with the quality of this vest, it is well made, has reflective strips and looks like it will last a long time. This is a side zipper which I like because there is a front zippered pocket for small items. I use for my phone, I put it in a separate waterproof case for emergencies. I bought aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled
