Good for heavy braking

Used these pads on my '94 turbocharged Miat. I go to the mountains every day when I get home from work. Even for hours at the weekend. The only problem with these pads is brake dust.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Reliability

Putting on a 95 ES Miata for autocross

Bought a 95 ES Miata for my autocross. Once I put them down, I hooked up the car to the event and damn it, a world of difference. I could bite the rotors harder and lock them on command if need be. The last sentence just won't bite. Great for racing and seems quiet outside.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Safety

Budget Fancy Brakes

Bought for Miata NB. Works as it should with some nuances. Leaves a lot of brake dust on the rims. Proper lubrication and cleaning is a must, otherwise the brakes will start to vibrate throughout the car with minimal braking. The brakes seem to squeak, although not yet on the gauge. Otherwise it works as it should, comparable to OEM I performance.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Hard to say

Keep coming back to this

. I use them on my streets and Miatas races. They pair well with 200TW tires and last about as long as the tires do on the track. They don't have amazing bite, but you can still see your hoops. They modulate well and do not fade in the heat. Our racing team has tried many rubbers, but we keep coming back to them, and not just because of their economy.

Decent cheap trackpads

We managed to drive about eight hours with one set of these pads on our Miata. Good bite and never faded. One day I forgot to order a kit and settled on super cheap pads from the parts store. Those cheap pads were terrible and we immediately regretted it. They're great for a casual day at the track, as long as you make sure they still have a few millimeters of cushion.

Great pads for road and canyon riding

These pads are great for my Miata. I appreciated that they also included shoe adjustment hardware. I have a 92 but I installed calipers from a 94 to use those pads as a brake upgrade. So far they have been calm, a bit dusty, but braked well. I would happily recommend them to anyone asking me about good road brake pads for their Miata. I would hesitate a little for serious track work, but for a light HD I think they will suffice. Their thermal range is broad.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Working speed

Great performance, lots of dust

I'm a Stoptech fan. I use Stoptech pads/discs/calipers/brake lines/fluid on all 4 corners of my Tacoma. I recently installed these pads on my NB Miata. Pads grip better than OEM. The stops are tight, consistent and I never experienced a fade. In terms of performance, it has everything I want in an outdoor mat. And the price is good compared to Hawk or EBC. HOWEVER, these pads foul the wheels more than any other pads I have used. These include Hawk HPS, Hawk HP, Bendix and Raybestos. To me, this

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Not bad
