I have ordered 4 different 8" mounts including this one - all photos showed them to fold completely flat. 3 were complete failures. stopped. This Summacon mount worked as intended. I have a small apartment and wanted to put a small folding table that I can use for dining and that I can tuck away when I need extra space. I did it in drywall with x12 3/16 screws. Much easier than building your own with hinges and props. Alignment on the wall was also very easy.
