Get them now - Triple Square Drive

My set of brake nuts. I use them every day and they hold up great. I love the storage compartment and have even used the small compartment on the side to store universal power strips and the occasional outlet.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Damaged

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They do not come in a storage box.

I've had very good luck with Sunex sockets. Made with high quality, not as heavy as many inexpensive ones. They'll even be stamped when the etching wears off. I work from a service van and try to buy things in suitcases. Unfortunately it is not included in this set.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Great value for the size I wanted!

I am an experienced ASE technician and use them daily. I love their matte finish which others have complained about. They won't slip out of your hands even with oil. Below that for me 21 and 22mm are a must, included in this set for the price of 1 tool trolley insert.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Problem

Sunex seems like a good choice for imported tools

I've used them many times with my 3/8" cordless impact wrench so far with no problems. They seem to grip fasteners well, no warping or edging anything I have put on or removed I expect them to wear well over time a good buy I wish they came with socket guides that way I take up less room in my toolbox.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Excellent sockets in thin shell

The sockets are high quality Taiwanese products with lifetime warranty. Contrary to what Revain describes, they come in a thin tray and NOT an inflated case like the rest of the Sunex line. The connectors themselves appear to be of excellent quality. I usually use Sn*p-*n. This is the second set for my street car. Quality on par with tool trolley heads. Would buy again. ASE master technician

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • fragile

Exceeds the price of tool trolleys.

I ordered these sockets for my Sunex 3/8 sets. The sockets came quickly, the quality is as expected. Don't be alarmed about the oil on them when you get them so they don't rust when you sit. In terms of durability, I use my Sunex kits every day and have never had a single issue. As a professional technician, I would recommend them to anyone. A side note: I've found that the embossing on these is larger and more legible than on my old sets, which is a positive change.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Drawn too deep - otherwise great heads

First, I use tools regularly. I use fasteners probably 5-10 hours a week on average. I'm not a full-time mechanic, but I do own a small workshop that builds custom 4x4s. Pros: - Good thin wall - Seems to work pretty well for the normal fasteners I deal with. - Cost - they are cheap. Cons: - This thing has gone too far. All of my SKs and latches on power sockets have a finer pull, which comes in handy when trying to tighten a nut with a socket. They don't have a beveled lip to fit the drive into

Pros
  • Individual heads for drives
Cons
  • Expensive

I thought it was useless but now I use them every day!

At first I thought these medium length sockets were a gimmick. Cordless impact gun with 3/8" drive. The waist is long enough to get past most screw ends, which impedes operation of flat heads, but compact enough to clear most obstacles. The 3/8" Drive also allows for a more compact tool. The only downside to this kit is that it doesn't increase the nest size; it's about the same size as a 3/8" socket. Costs A LOT more! For the price, this is 99% mine Requirements great. The quality is great as…

Pros
  • Sockets and Socket Sets
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than the others
