Don't worry: wheels and accessories

Others have mentioned that it works fine but what they haven't told you is that the disc is convex and cannot be used on the Mavik wheel. It took a while to cut and when I finished it looked like Mickey Mouse so I had to color it. If you have a three speed cruiser then you will probably be fine.

Pros
  • Everything's fine!
Cons
  • I don't remember

Quality product - much better than the original!

Replaced an old cracked plastic disc on my Schwinn MB with this and what an improvement! Bigger, stronger, heavier and much nicer. The old one broke and fell apart while I was filming it. Easy to install after I removed the freewheel. Would recommend to others.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Hard to say

Didn't last. Too fragile?

Not survived. Maybe the plastic was too brittle. Installed last year with a new freewheel. Within 6 months he disappeared. It apparently broke into 2 or more pieces and flew off the bike while riding. I never realized it was gone until I got home. Luckily the splinters didn't damage my chain or shifter.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Some problems

Completely satisfied!

It worked well on a mountain bike for 13 months and 3600 miles. Well washed Windex. That looks great. The sun creates a cool wavy pattern of light in its shadow. It is significantly larger than the standard spoke guard and therefore offers more protection. I bought it out of caution as many new bike testers have had issues with dropped shifters on their first rides. It fits snugly between the freewheel and the hub. This results in a gentle grinding noise resonating through the disc. The noiseโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • Not bad

Best not to worry about the spokes and parts

Others mention that it works well but they didn't tell you that the disc is convex and impossible to fit on a Mavik wheel use. It took a while to cut and when I finished it looked like Mickey Mouse so I had to color it. If you have a three speed cruiser then you will probably be fine.
