Description of Sunsong 3401201 Steering Pressure Assembly

Pressure Hoses exceed original equipment performance standards (SAE J2050) with a max working pressure of 1,500 psi a burst pressure rating of 8,700 psi and a tensile strength of 1,600 lb. This provides exceptional durability and long life. All tubing is manufactured from high grade steel and electroplated with a zinc coating (chromium III), delivering superior corrosion and rust resistance against elements such as high humidity, road salt, water, and grime. Each hose is precision engineered to exact fit and includes brackets, grommets, switch ports, heat shields, bushings, and protective sleeves as required for to ensure that all wearable parts are restored to original condition. Every hose is subjected to a high pressure quality assurance test before leaving the factory, ensuring trouble free installation and operation of your new hose. Hoses are made from multi-layer reinforced rubber and have a synthetic rubber coating that is highly resistant to oil, ozone, and heat. Hoses have an operating temperature range of -40 to 310 degrees Fahrenheit, exceeding original equipment requirements.

Fits well but does not include an o-ring on the line! Leaks

I had to install and remove the line twice as it didn't have an o-ring on the end of the line. For installation, cut the line at the end, but not at the very end. Then cut off the remaining ends. The area where the line runs is very difficult to access. Almost impossible if you have big arms or hands. You will need an adjustable mini wrench and a 14mm box wrench to loosen the union nut. I just finished installing and I think there is still a tiny leak that drips over time. So there's still…

This hose fits. In earnest. is ok

This is a really well made hose. Not with a simple installation. My old fittings came apart easily, got very dirty and took me an hour and 45 minutes to finish. I'm not a noob, but I'm not a mechanic either. Compression fittings are always a bit awkward for me, the brake line, that hose, whatever. The secret is to align the tubing in both axes while hand-tightening the CLEAN threads. Then use the wrench once it's too tight to move forward with your fingers. I suspect some problems will arise if

I have a 2008 Honda Odyssey that I installed this item on. It took almost 2.5 hours to remove the old one. Here's a tip, just say screw and break the tube near the pressure port on the underside of the car (bend it back and forth until the metal tube is hard enough to break) and use a socket wrench, to get the damn thing out. out. Otherwise, if the fitting isn't already loose, you'll find the metal bend at the open end of the wrench ripping off the ends of the fitting trying to pull the damn…

This product says it fits my 2008 Honda Odyssey but they lied.

This item says it fits my 2008 Honda Odyssey but they lied. When you open the box the parts look almost the same, all curves are to the right, all connectors/connectors look the same. The next thing I noticed was that I didn't get new O-rings. I should have stopped immediately and returned the item, but I didn't. I spent the next 2+ hours under the van trying to screw the connector into the rack and pinion. Little did I know that the slight difference in fit I had noticed before would come back

Perfect fit for my 2009 Odyssey.

Perfect for my 2009 Odyssey. Took me about 3 hours to install it in a garage with no elevator. A few tips: remove the air intake/filter assembly first so you can access the hose connector from the top instead of the bottom. I've attached a picture of the top facing down where the connection is. It's a bit tedious, but it can be achieved. Also remove the front wheel on the passenger side to access a clip on the underside of the van. These two things allowed me to undo the connection at the top…

This is an intricate DIY repair

As original but the steel pipe is "painted black" but that is not so important. Removal of the air chamber and hose (when approaching from top to bottom)! I needed an "extra pair of hands" so my wife had to crawl under our van and push the line in and up and I had to lie on top of the engine (make sure it's cool first) to install the fitting . lined up with the steering box to screw it in (it only took me about 50 times trying to start the install!). It's not the seller's fault. Be careful when

Subtle details, gross fitment

This is a rating of the part itself and the rating reflects my set up was PAINFUL. I put it on a 2009 Odyssey. It's absurd to get at the power steering pump connector on this car. I even bought the "linear" wrenches needed to get a better grip on the fitting. I'm pretty mechanical, but it's a two-person job. One to align and hold the threads straight on the RnP handlebar and a second person to tighten them. The part easily went all the way to the end of the power steering fluid reservoir and…
