    Very nice to print. Very strong.

    My first print with this filament was a 28 hour lens for a 6 inch refractor telescope I am building. I needed a strong cell because a dual lens of this size costs a few pounds and $400 and cannot slide. This material prints flawlessly. I'm hesitant to say it prints better than regular PLA, but almost. I used a little over half a roll on my first print. I wanted to see the wear and tear for myself and how it happened. I really couldn't tell from the first print what the wear and tear was. I did…

    Have been working with 3D printers and crafters for a long time but avoided carbon fiber because the sheer number of people say they need ultra high temperatures, all metal hotends, hardened steel nozzles etc . To date (on a specially recently loaded 0.5mm nozzle, PTFE neck, on your Maker Select v2 / Wanhao Medium clone) I've printed 5 separate models of 35-40m². mm of varying specs and literally the easiest PLA-like filament I've printed in a long time.     Looks good but not stronger or lighter.

    First of all it is a good filament with a nice finish. BUT. What you need to understand is that it is neither stronger nor lighter than other PLAs. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and it's plain PLA with filaments embedded in it. I suppose it could be stiffer, but as the fibers tend to lay flat when extruded it doesn't offer the best layer strength or much, but PLA still has good layer adhesion.
