This product came with two different sized balls for bonnet attachment and could easily be replaced with a 12mm open end wrench and socket.

The only difficulty encountered during installation was maintaining the correct position of the hood when fitting each element. I do not recommend this as a one person job.

After watching a YouTube video they were easy to install. A few years ago I installed the kit on another car and memorized the general concept. I was happy then and I am happy now.

Got a refund without returning the luggage racks and used the support rod until I caught the rear and the car crashed. I'm glad I didn't spend more money on the car!

The Camry has two mounting points on the hood to attach the shock absorbers, the old ones were fitted differently for some reason and had to unscrew the ball screw and move it around to fit this bring new ones together. My car was already beaten, so I attached the lower section of the shock absorber to the body and bent it to match the new hood angle. opens and closes normally.

Exceeded my expectations. The only "trick" is to use a small screwdriver to pry off the top of the rack. Wipe clean and inspect carefully, a small screw will move the clamps and the old posts will fall off. Well packaged with extra parts, all ok. It took me about fifteen minutes, but now that I've made one, I bet I can do it in four minutes. So nice that the hood stays on duty.
