exceptionally bright tactical flashlight

This flashlight is light, durable, and extraordinarily bright. It is important to understand that this is a tactical flashlight, NOT an every day carry flashlight. It achieves its brightness by hitting the two 123A cells for all that they are worth. It's like having a car with 2 speeds: 0 and 120mph. The upshot of this is that you only get 90 min on one set of batteries. At $2 a piece, it would get very costly to use this flashlight for your 45 min dog walk each night. You'd literally be…

Pros
  • Awesome. Wish they would make a single mode
Cons
  • The flashlight's battery life may not be very long

Best "No-BS " Tactical Flashlight

I bought a first-generation G2X tactical (200 lumen) right when they came out, and since then I've held the belief that the SureFire single-output LED lights are the only way to go if you want a handheld light for serious use.I just received the G2ZX (320 lumen) which I think is the perfect balance of efficiency, regulated runtime, output, and cost. I also think the "combatlight" handhelds are the pinnacle of SureFire's design. I am unaware of any other manufacturer that makes…

Pros
  • Great light, very bright and tough. Have several of these on AR15's
Cons
  • Made in China. Cheap.

Works great! - my new review

The high power will definitely light the way. Low power is great as well for close activity. Excellent product and worth the money!

Pros
  • Tough nitrolon body, anodized aluminum Bezel
Cons
  • The flashlight's grip may not be very comfortable

Great product - my new review

I own several Surefire flashlights. I own several of these. They are a true 600 lumens compared to Chinese products that give false pretenses on lumen strength. This is a light weight, bright & durable product with great throw that is made in the USA. If I had one fault it would be the polycarbonate lens. But for this price point it could not be expected to have the tempered glass lens like on the higher end models. For those on the fence, just by it!

Pros
  • Designed for professionals: The G2X Series LED Flashlights are designed for professionals who need reliable and high-quality lighting sources
Cons
  • The flashlight may not be very good for boating or fishing

WOW! This flashlight is BRIGHT!

The first click of the tail cap gives a blinding 400 lumens of light to temporarily blind an attacker or an unwanted aggressor. Then second click gives low level 15 lumens for a comfortable light output for work in the dark. Buy the SureFire V70 Black Polymer Speed Holster to go with it like I did so you can have it secured and ready for quick deployment. The V 70 allows you to insert the flashlight in either direction, tail cap up or tail cap down. Tail cap up exposes the entire grip of…

Pros
  • The G2X Series LED Flashlights are tough and can withstand harsh conditions, making them perfect for outdoor enthusiasts or work environments
Cons
  • The flashlight may not be very good for search and rescue

While I appreciate the quality and customer service of Surefire, I'm not a huge fan of this flashlight.I bought this to use for low light pistol shooting classes that I take. While I have weapon lights on my pistols, I wanted to have a backup handheld flashlight. The good thing about this model is that it is momentary only, so you won't accidentally hit the switch and leave it on, exposing your position while you fumble to try and turn off the light. But the bad thing about the switch on this…

Pros
  • Ergonomic grip: The Nitrolon body features an ergonomic grip, which is comfortable to hold and has a non-slip texture
Cons
  • The flashlight may not be adjustable for different situations

A flashlight you can trust your life to….

I’ve owned a couple dozen flashlights in my lifetime, the only flashlight that hasn’t failed to date is the Surefire. The G2X Pro series is nice and compact. Has a good balance between brightness and battery run time. Virtually indestructible, mines been dropped from 10 feet to concrete floors, dropped in water, left outside, still works as great as the day I got it. Photo shows the Desert Tan color just purchased, plus an older G2X that’s been heavily used on a nearly daily basis these last 3…

Pros
  • The Nitrolon body is easy to clean and maintain, ensuring maximum hygiene for users
Cons
  • The flashlight may not be very useful for navigation

WORTH THE EXTRA CASH

Anybody, and I mean anybody could use this flashlight, military, police, or the regular joe. The extra cash you'll pay for the name.brand ensures a quality product made in the USA, this flashlight will last a lifetime buy now!

Pros
  • quality light, feels a little plasticy but seems durable, good beam seems to work just as described.
Cons
  • Built tough, but it's hard to push the button.. not for people that has a bad dexterity.
